Sales Support Engineer

Type of employment: Full-time

Contract type: Permanent

Travel: bis zu 30%

Providing engineering support for Sales and Project Management teams.

 

Your tasks:

Typical responsibilities associated with (but not limited to) this position:

  • Review and understand Request for Quotes (R.F.Q’s), and project technical specification requirements
  • Work with sales and engineering teams to develop project specific solutions
  • Prepare conceptual layout drawings for proposed solutions using AutoCAD
  • Create proposals using ERP system
  • Support Sales Team with travel to customer sites and/or customer visits to MSK sites
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Teams in development of new leads through various efforts including market research, cold calling, and attending tradeshows and conferences (domestic and international)
  • Assist in preparing company-internal technical documents for project hand-off with MSK Technical Project Engineers
  • Assist Technical Project Engineers in execution of Project Deliverables
  • Manage internal projects to include process and documentation improvements

 

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial engineering, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or controls/automation engineering) is preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a technical role within the packaging or manufacturing industry
  • Strong MS Office experience/capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken – German and/or Spanish speaking a plus)
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 30%)
  • Experience and ability using AutoCAD (2D) for creating and manipulating layouts
